Driveway no driveway

Ok.... this is why you don't hire "the new guy" to do the concrete work. It was poured yesterday. I guess every sub that came in today asked "who screwed* up the driveway"

Don't ask about the carpet. I don't want to talk about it.

On the positive side, they installed the shutters

*They didn't say "screwed"

More of everything...

We finally got a chance to come to the house when it was light out. Actually, they didn't work on the house today. No problem given that they were out at the house until at least 10:00 last night.

Hold on to your hats, a lot of work on the house means a lot of pictures...

Not our house, but we happened to see a fox in a field on the drive out there.

Construction fury

We haven't had an opportunity to take many pictures lately because the builders have been working around the clock to get things finished. Friday night they worked until 1:00am. We got up extra early, then broke into the house on Saturday to shoot these.

It was dark

Paint

Garage doors installed. There seems to be a trend with the wrong door being installed. We're supposed to have windows installed in the top panel.

Plastered

The good news: The first coat of plaster is started.

The bad news: Two of the people who were going to do the plastering are currently in jail (apparently, they were plastered too).

The good news (if you're helping us move) or the bad news (if you're us): Closing has been moved back to June 16th. Hotel life continues for another week.

This machine is plastered

They started hanging our lights.

Niches

They finished hanging the drywall yesterday. Should have the first coat of plaster up today. We were out late shopping for lights and didn't get there until after it was dark, so I only had a few pictures that turned out...
